What MiniJack does

Gapless playback

Live albums and DJ mixes play as one piece. MiniJack reads each format's encoder delay and padding, for files and for streams, and the test suite checks every join to the sample.

Every download is decoded start to finish before it counts as ready. One that fails the check is fetched once more, and downloads pick up again after a restart.

The queue lives on your server

Add songs to play next or later, drag them into order and save the queue as a playlist. A copy lives on your server, and if another device replaces it, you can put yours back.

Runs on the iPod touch

iOS 15 is the last version the 7th-generation iPod touch gets, and MiniJack runs on it. Every screen is laid out for its 4-inch display and checked at 320 points with larger text.

Works with your Subsonic server

MiniJack speaks the Subsonic API and its OpenSubsonic extensions. It's built against Navidrome and tested against seven other servers; where a server lacks a feature, MiniJack hides the feature for that server.

Privacy

MiniJack has no account to make and no analytics, ads or tracking. It talks only to the servers you add, and keeps their passwords in the iOS Keychain.
